

Ben Lor, 25, of Banning, California passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019. He was born on Tuesday, August 24, 1993 in Banning, California to his parents Soua Yeng and Ma Moua Lor. Ben had a love for running which started in high school. In fact, Ben joined the Cross Country team at his high school and he really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was during his time in high school Cross Country that inspired him to run the L.A. Marathon during high school and again in college. Ben attended California State University, San Bernardino where he graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. During his time at Cal State San Bernardino, he was a Volunteer IT Assistant, VMware Cloud Computing team member, and a Server team leader. After college, Ben's last job was working for Vyaire Medical as a Service Technician where he worked with Medical Diagnostic Equipment. His job functions included: diagnosing, trouble shooting for root cause, repairing, configurations, testing, calibrating, and refurbishing the Vmax Encore Units. When he wasn't busy working, Ben loved playing video games. He grew up playing Runescape on the computer online gaming system. The online gaming was a journey for Ben; toward the end of this college year, he finally considered himself a successful gamer. Ben was shy and soft-spoken, but very friendly and you could always count on him for a helping hand. Ben will be missed by all those who knew him. Ben is survived by his parents, Soua Yeng and Ma Moua Lor, his brothers, Yang (Pang) Lor, Kong (Pa Ying) Lor, Pheng Lor, and Nuj Tee Lor, and his sisters, Mai Vang Lor and Honey Lor.
