Bobby O'Neal West

Bobby was preceded in death by grandparents, Magellan and Clara Washington; his loving mother, Dorothy Rawlins; baby brother, Calvin Shaw; step-son, Tyrone Trimble, and sister-in-law, Lillie Ballard.

Bobby confessed his life to Christ at an early age at Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor, Manual Scott, Sr.

Bobby married Rita on May 20, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV. Bobby worked at Home Base for 8 years. He retired in 2015 from the Riverside Sam’s Club, where he worked for 10 years.

Bobby loved his family. He also loved fishing, riding his bikes, camping, bowling, barbeque, football, and basketball.

Bobby attended Henry Clay and Washington School and graduated in 1976. He attended Los Angeles Southwest College and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.

He leaves, to cherish his memories, his loving and caring wife, Rita West; his Father Burnett West; his step-mother, Barbara West; his brothers, Vincent Jackson (sister-in-law, Lillie Jackson), Victor Jackson, and Lonnie Ray Williams; his aunts, Sophie, Varice, Avie, and Louise; one uncle, Willie James Washington; 8 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchildren; one step-daughter-in-law, Celeste Trimble; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Green, Cynthia Lee, Etta Lee, and Peggy Lee; one brother-in-law, Reverend James Lee, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
