Booker T. Washington

Booker T. Washington was born September 3, 1970 in Long Beach, California to Camellia Walker and Cornelius Washington. His family relocated to Lake Elsinore, California where he joined Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Reverend Earl B. Siler.

Booker graduated from Elsinore High School in 1988. He was married to Lois Allen in 1989; they shared 3 children together. In 1993 Booker had his fourth child. Booker decided in 1998 to relocate to Mc Alester, Oklahoma and later to Tulsa, Oklahoma. He united with Apostolic Worship Embassy under the leadership of Apostle Salley Chaney where he became a Minster and faithfully worshiped until God called him home. In 2007 Booker graduated form Tulsa Community College. Booker was in the process of completing the final units needed to graduate with his bachelor's degree in Business Management. He was attending Northeastern University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Last year he proposed to Sasha Harris and she accepted.

On February 10, 2014 an angel of mercy descended and gently lifted Booker T. Washington into heavens gates. He will forever be loved and cherished as he was a loving fiancée, son, brother, father, uncle, cousin and friend.

Preceding him in death is his sister, Trisha Ann Burris and his grandmother, Lola Lillian Sheffield.

To carry on his memory is his very devoted fiancee, Shasha Harris; mother, Camellia Walker; brother, Antonio Washington; four children, Chantel Washington, Pierre Washington, Briana Washington, and Brashawn Washington as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
