Carol Mary Cox

Carol Mary Cox, 80 of Hemet, CA, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Hemet Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Cox was born on Saturday, April 23, 1932 in Tarrytown, New York. She was the loving wife of Buddy L. Cox.

Surviving are a son, Clint Cox, and daughter, Nancy Quiggle, also survived by nephew, Charles Stumf; 2 grand children.

Carol was a good wife and a good mother, although they said Carol had an Irish temper. The family would say that she was loving, a devoted person and a very great cook. Her husband said she loved to Iron and kept a spotless house. Some of Carol’s hobbies included keno, bingo, card games, crochet, and painting ceramics. the family would love to take drives to Kansas City, visit relatives in Arkansas and travel to Laughlin. As a young family they would go fishing, to the zoo, and travel to Solvang. Carol loved making Easter baskets for the family. She loved all things Irish.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 North San Jacinto Street , Hemet, California .

A Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery located at 2555 South Santa Fe Street San Jacinto, California 92583. Interment will be in San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, San Jacinto, CA.
