Cecile RobinsonCecile M. Robinson, passed away at the age of 76 at Hemet Valley Medical Center on November 16, 2010, in Hemet, CA. Cecile was born in Shelbyville, KY March 14, 1934 to Cecile and Ethyle Money.She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Don of Hemet; seven children, Jet Taylor of Westfield, NJ; Garrett Taylor of Louisville, KY; Vicki Yates of Compton, CA; Debbie Stovall of Eastvale, CA; Mark Robinson of Ensenada, Mexico; Craig Robinson of Coconut Grave, FL; Lori Robinson of Prescott, AZ as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.She received her bachelor's degree in Home Economics from Queens College, Charlotte, NC in 1956 and pursued gradute studies at California State University at Northridge. She taught school in North Carolina, Virginia and California. After marrying Don, she moved to Kirksville, MO where she managed a lingerie store. In 1989, she returned to Southern California. A resident of Hemet for 21 years, she was an active member of Sarah Circle and Questors at Hemet United Methodist Church. Cecile loved her flowers, bird watching, friends and family. She was a very kind-hearted person who cared deeply for others, enjoyed traveling with her husband, and socializing with friends. She was loved by many and will by missed greatly.A public visitation will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary, on Monday, November 22, 2010 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Funeral services will be held in Shelbyville, KY on Saturday, December 4, 2010 with interment at Shelbyville Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Queens College.
