Charles Nicholas Hannem died on March 8th, 2021 in Menifee, California. Born in Los Angeles, CA on February 5th, 1985 as the oldest of a set of triplets, Charlie grew up in Riverside and Hemet, CA, dreaming of becoming an airline pilot. While working at the San Diego International Airport, he developed his technical skills and focused on helping others. He took a position at Casa de Las Campanas, a retirement community in Rancho Bernardo, where he would eventually serve as the Director of Facilities. Charlie loved hiking, lifting weights, running, and riding his motorcycle. His proudest accomplishment, though, was being a loving father to his daughters, Elliott and McKenna, and his son, Benjamin. He looked forward to spending time and playing with them every day.
Charlie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elmer Balyeat, and his parents, Donald and Karen Hannem. He is survived by his grandmother LaVerne Balyeat, siblings Rebecca (Cruz), Wesley, and Timm Hannem, his wife of over seven years, Stephanie Hannem, his children Elliott, McKenna, and Benjamin Hannem, and his nephews Brendan Young and Luke Hannem.
A celebration of life will be held at the Miller-Jones Mortuary in Menifee on Friday, March 19th, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. P.D.T.
