Charles Leon Collier

Chuck Collier is the eldest son of Mildred and Charles Collier. He grew up in Mission Valley, in San Diego County where he attended Mission Bay High School graduating in 1958 He served in the Army as a specialist and later joined the reserves. He spent many years in Pennsylvania, and moved back to San Diego in 1981. At the age of 40, Chuck gave his life to Christ and has never wavered in his faith. He attended Twin Peaks Assembly of God in Poway where he met his wife Marti and her son Michael. The couple exchanged wedding vows on Feb 11, 1982 and began a beautiful life together serving God in their local church. They spent several years in Aguanga, CA where they enjoyed 24 acres of land and then moved to Menifee, Ca. Chuck and Marti both worked at ACS/Guidant in Temecula. Chuck was a material stores lead. They enjoyed being able to spend time together on their lunch breaks. Following retirement, the couple opened a Postal Annex business for two years. During this time, Chuck continued to serve in the local church always living a life that honored God. In 2008 they began attending Rock Solid Christian Church now called Heritage Christian Church. Chuck enrolled in bible classes through Grace International and the couple were ordained in 2012. For the past five years, Chuck and his wife, Marti have led bible studies at Heritage Christian Church. They became Pastor's to the Seniors and the ministry thrived. Those who know him will testify that Chuck is a man of God, a full of honor, a servant, loving husband and caring friend. He is survived by his wife Marti, son Michael and his family, daughter Elizabeth and her family, daughter Tina and her family, son Barry and his family, brothers Claude and Barry and their families, sisters Charlene and Debbie and their families and many, many friends. Chuck is now experiencing the fullness of God's presence. "Well done good and faithful servant."
