Charles A. Swanson

Charles A. "Chuck" Swanson, 74, originally from Missoula, MT, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Hemet, CA. Born December 19, 1938 in Aberdeen, WA; he was the son of the late Gunner and Norma Swanson.

A graceful, intelligent man with a kind spirit, Chuck had the talent and the ability to fix almost anything. After 4 years of service in the Navy he became a telephone technician and retired from Blackfoot Telephone Co-op in 1991. He was a loving, generous and gentle man whose laugh brought joy to everyone. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors and always had his dog with him wherever he went. He was adventurous and loved hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding through the great state of Montana. He also enjoyed square dancing and playing cards with friends. Chuck was also devoted to his faith and was a parishioner at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hemet, CA.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Swanson; sister, Virginia Lee Massey; daughters, Windean Dahleen and Kenna Dahleen; and grandchildren, Brighten and Kekona.
