Charlotte S Hoskins

Charlotte S. Northington Hoskins, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Charlotte was born to Everett and Juanita Smith on Thursday, November 11, 1926 in Mangum, OK. She was a member of the Valle Vista Baptist Church were she was very active and enjoyed playing the piano for the services. Charlotte was the matriarch of the family. Aside from being so loving and warm, she was a great cook. Her specialty was making bread which her family truly enjoyed. Her recipes were passed down to her children and grandchildren who are still making her amazingly delicious breads and rolls for all to savor. Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 40 years, Roy Everett Northington, her husband Willis Hoskins, and her daughter Norma Faye Edwards. Charlotte is survived by her children, Steve (Cathy) Northington, Cathy (Hugh) McPhink, Joe (Diane) Northington, Maxine (Glen) Wilson, and Douglas (Barbara) Northington; grandchildren, David, Todd (Albrey), Michelle (Steve), Michael, Blake, Aaron, Jason, Danielle, Corbin (Mariah), Courtney, Kelsey, and Kyle; 2 great-grandchildren, Cameron, and Ashley; brothers, James Fred, Alan (Elva), and Kenneth (Murlene); and her sister Maxine.

Charlotte touched many lives and will be truly missed by all those who are honored to know her and who loved her.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her honor to Valle Vista Baptist Church.
