Dagny R. Foster, age 97, of Hemet, California, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2013 with her family by her side. Born in Kenmare, North Dakota on November 16, 1915 to Julius Alexander and Anna Nielsen. She was the youngest of 7 children. She grew up and went to school in Minot, North Dakota. She was united in marriage to Archie Foster on August 2, 1937. They moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota in the early 40's to raise their family.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling to California in the winter, eventually moving there in 1990 to be near her children.
She is survived by her son Joe (Patty) Foster, Winchester California, daughter Sharon (Bob) Martin, Hemet California, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Archie, daughter Patricia Griffin, and all of her siblings.
Internment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Forks.
