

David was born on Sunday, May 11, 1958 in Inglewood, California. He was the second son of Richard Beam and the late Helen Griffin Beam. In 1976, David met Marie Fernandez in Diamond Bar, California. They were married in 1979 and lived in Ontario, California for 20 years. In 1999, they moved to Murrieta, California. They were together as life mates for 40 years until his death.
David bought his first house at age 20 in Ontario, California. He welcomed his first daughter at age 33 while in Ontario, and his second daughter at age 43 while in Murrieta. He finally got his dream car at age 50. After spending over 30 years in the HVAC industry, he changed careers at age 51, went to college and earned a Certificate in Water Technology, and then attained his Grade III WWTP Operator Certification.
David was known for putting his heart and soul into everything he did. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. He was a husband, a father, a brother, a best friend, a protector and provider, and a hard worker. He was always there if you needed him. He was a very talented individual. He had a great sense of humor and often laughed at his own jokes. He was a great imitator of voices and loved doing foreign accents. He enjoyed creating delicious meals to eat. He was an expert troubleshooter, and he could fix, repair, install, and maintain everything. He loved to enjoy the outdoors, especially with his family in his own backyard. His favorite places were Dinkey Creek and Lake Mohave. He deeply loved Ted, the family's little Yorkie dog.
David had a lifelong love of music. He loved listening to the Beatles, all kinds of rock music, and was especially fond of Frank Zappa, whom he met in person. He encouraged his daughters to love music, to learn to read music, and to learn to play instruments. He was a talented and accomplished musician: guitarist, vocalist, composer, and arranger. He loved performing and recording music with his band mates. He composed, arranged and produced a number of original songs, which were created on guitar, piano, and synthesizers in his home studio.
David also had a lifelong love of computer technology and computer gaming. David spent many years with friends and family enjoying video and computer gaming. He also shared that love with each of his daughters, spending many gaming hours together. In the 1990s, David and his partner created the original internet game Empiriana under the Infinite Realms name. David created the story, gameplay, 2-D art, 3-D art, and all the original music, while his partner created the programming and all things technical.
He is survived by his wife Marie, daughters Michele and Annika, father Richard Beam, brothers Rick Beam (Maryann) and Jason Beam (Nastasha), and sister Rhonda Ramirez (Mike). He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
