Dean Francis Rice

Dean is survived by his two children, Adreana (Scott) Bailey and Travis (JoAn) Rice, three sisters, Irene (Dave) Ledbetter, twin sister, Mary "Mimi" (Jerry) Milholland, and Randy (Lloyd) Cliff, and two grandchildren, Nicole and Rachel Bailey.

Dean grew up on the family Ranch in French Valley, CA where he attended the Alamos one-room school. After graduation from Hemet High School, Dean joined the US Navy with life-long friend, Lloyd Cliff, where they served honorably during the Vietnam War. Dean also graduated from College of the Redwoods and worked in the forest industry. He lived many places, including the North West, locally, Hawaii, Texas; lastly in Valle Vista.

Dean was a man of action with a heart who would go out of his way to bring a smile to a persons face. Dean was greatly loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, especially by his Savior, Jesus Christ.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518.
