Dennis Joseph Craven III, age 62, passed away on September 18, 2014. Dennis was born on Monday, May 12, 1952 in Inglewood, CA to Dennis and Clarita Craven Jr. DJ, as he was lovingly called by his family and friends, proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam war being one of the last soldiers to be drafted. He was the owner and operator of DJ's Auto Body and Towing for more than 35 years. DJ served as past President of the California Autobody Association. He also taught auto body repair for many years at Mt. San Jacinto College. DJ loved golfing, boating, and spending time on the river with family and friends. He was an avid motorcycle rider and a member of The Old Guys Rule motorcycle club.
DJ is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Craven of Hemet; children, Mollee Craven, Denny Craven, Melissa Craven, Emily Craven, and step-daughter, Gina Carter; siblings, Mary Ann Mari, and Maureen (August) Brescia.
DJ was a wonderful husband, devoted father, exceptional businessman, and devoted friend. DJ touched many lives and will be truly missed by all those who were honored to know him and who loved him.
