Donald E. Owens retired Ssgt of the United States Air Force, Age 78 of Sun City California of 14 years. He had entered life's journey on August 24, 1934 in Logansport, Indiana. His final life's journey came to a peaceful moment on March 5, 2013.
He served his country with honor in the Air Force from 1954 thru 1974, during his enlistment he served in the Vietnam War. This allowed him and his family opportunity to travel and see the world. Don graduated from Riverside City College and Chaffey High School(1954).
He is preceded in death by his parents; Paul Owens and Myra-Jean (Yeider) Owens
Don is survived by his wife of 54 years, Irene Mae (Miller) Owens: Son Thomas Owens (Angelia), Son Jerry Owens (Eva) and his brother Wayne Owens-Az.; 4 Grandchildren: Thomas R. Owens, Richard D. Owens, Christina A. Owens, Alexis H. Owens and 5 Great Grandchildren
