Donald Arthur Peel

Donald Arthur Peel, 83 of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. He was born on Thursday, September 11, 1930 in Inglewood, California, and was the son of John and Lula Peel. Donald was the husband to the love of his life, Carolyn Holland Peel, they were married for 57 years. Donald was very spiritual and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was very active and held many positions of service in the church. He and Carolyn loved to sit on the beach and watch the waves and enjoy the sounds and smells. Don loved the outdoors and being with his family. Family was so very important to him, he always loved to spend time with them. Don loved to travel and visited many places in the US and abroad. His family describes him as having a dry since of humor, spiritual, serious and supportive. Surviving is his wife, Carolyn Peel, son, Mark Peel ( Andrea ), daughters Cammie Klein, Caren Rowley ( Jeff ). Kristy Schlueter ( Mark ). 12 Grandchildren, 3 Great grandchildren. Preceding in death was his son Derek A Peel. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the American Cancer Society.
