Donald Thomas Trumble

Donald Thomas Trumble, 95, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, in Hemet, California. He was born on Sunday, June 13, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan, to his parents, Linton and Ivy Trumble. During high school, Don met the love of his life, Pearl. Don and Pearl graduated in June. They got married on September 2, 1944 and were married 70 years. That following October, Don was drafted into the U.S. Army. While in the service, Donald was ranked Private First Class and proudly served the country. Donald was honorably discharged from the Army on July 29, 1946. Donald and Pearl were the loving parents of three children. Don worked as a chauffeur for over 30 years for a lead businessman. In his spare time, Don loved camping, fishing, boating, and refinishing vintage clocks. Donald owned well over 30 clocks that he refinished all on his own. Don and Pearl owned nine motorhomes through the years and would pack up the family and drive between Michigan and California. Donald was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Donald was an amazing man who will be missed dearly by his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Trumble, his parents, Linton and Ivy Trumble, his brother, Kenneth Trumble, and his sister, Joy Trumble. Donald is survived by his children, Donald W. (Margaret) Trumble, Laura Clayton, and Dale (Laura) Trumble, his grandchildren, Donald Grover (Diane) Trumble, David Trumble, Christopher (Jill) Trumble, Ryan (Catherine) Trumble, Justin (Katherine) Trumble, and Kyle Trumble, his great grandchildren, Faith Trumble, Amber Trumble, Jordan (Lauren) Trumble, Jacob Trumble, Cameron Trumble, Evan Trumble, Quinn Trumble, Natalie Trumble, and Dax Trumble and his great-great grandchild, Winry Trumble. A visitation will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, California on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11:30AM. A graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
