Doris Lee Christie, 76 of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at her residence. She was born on Tuesday, October 22, 1935 in Hamilton, Texas; she was the daughter of the late William Price and the late Jewel Jordan.
Doris was survived by her children, Gayle, Mike, Linda and Steve, her sister Pat Witt, her grandchildren, Travis, Michelle, Tracy, Sean, Christie, Jennifer, Jade, Nick, Kailyn and Tyler, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Christie and her son, David Christie.
Doris was a loving, compassionate, generous, and sometimes feisty woman. She loved to shop, read, and pass the time with computer games. She was a strong business woman who took over the company she started with her husband, Christie Steel.
Doris was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
