

Dorothy Jane Evans entered into life on Monday August 1, 1927 in Flint Michigan. She entered eternal rest on Saturday April 4, 2020 in Hemet California. She was born to Robert A. and Gladys Bryce. She is survived by her children Jane Kading (Mark) from Seymour Tennessee, Lois Greiner (Larry) from Arroyo Grande California, Louis Gilmore from Laguna Beach California, Fred Evans of Hemet, California, Tara Jensen (Scott) from Nuevo California. Step children Kathy Galloway (Phil) from Belen New Mexico, Janet Maldonado (Victor) from Bloomfield Michigan, Anita Pappas (Steve) from Ridgecrest California. Twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is proceeded in death by her husband Henry G. Evans, stepdaughter Marge Bailey, granddaughter Emma Jane Walker and three sisters; Muriel Davis, Phyllis Rollins, and Norma Quinn.
She moved to California at age eighteen and raised her family. She candled eggs, worked at Smith Brothers, and retired from Alpha Beta as a meat wrapper and one of the first women meat cutters. She lived her life for her children. She enjoyed bowling, golf, working jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, games, farkle, bingo, slot machines, reading, word search puzzles, roller coasters, and taking cruises.
