Dr. Randolph John Dreier

Dr. Randolph John Dreier, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. He was born to John and Emmy Schafer- Dreier in Hampton, Iowa on Thursday, May 26, 1932 along with his twin brother, Dr. Ralph Dreier. "Randy", as he was known, graduated from Hoover High School in Glendale, CA in 1950. A proud American, he and his brother, Ralph, joined the Naval Air Reserve while attending college when he was called to active duty during the Korean conflict. Soon he graduated from Pepperdine University (1957) and entered UCI Medical School where he graduated from in 1961. Dr. Dreier went on to serve his internship at Los Angeles County Hospital from 1961-1962 and then his residency in OB/GYN from 1962-1966. Dr. Dreier set up his practice in Hemet in 1966, the same year he married his beloved, Gloria. Dr. Dreier retired in 1988. Dr. Dreier is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 50 years, Gloria Dreier; His son, Derek Dreier; daughter Alphia (Matt) Reisenauer; and his twin brother, Dr Ralph (Madeline) Dreier. Dr. Dreier touched many lives and will be truly missed by all those who were honored to know him, who loved him, and who he brought into this world. Dr. Dreier will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery . Services will be private .
