Dylan Shane Stultz aka, Dyl, D-BO-D, Gadget-man, Taz and D "Saw the Sky and started Walking again" on November 7th, 2012. Dylan entered this world on December 10th, 1980 in Ventura California to his first fans, his parents Patti and Glen.
Dylan was a joyful, loving and charming child who spread laughter and smiles to all who came in contact with him.
Dylan was a child actor and model. He could make the ladies melt with one wink of those gorgeous big blue eyes and a kiss blown their way (this started at the age of two).
Dylan loved to climb everything he could. We used to say Dylan didn't learn to walk, he learned to run. He would run through the house in a whirlwind which brought on the nickname "TAZ" very early in life.
He loved to Surf, Skimboard,Snowboard, Skateboard, Snake-board, Bike, Dance, go off roading & Camping in addition to being an avid video gamer. Dylan had numerous friends he had made on his journey in life and a whole community of friends he had never met in person but knew and loved online. Many of Dylan's online friends have spoken about the impact that he made on their lives and how he "helped them through hard times". A lot of people considered Dylan their "Best Friend".
He loved all music but especially SKA, Blues, Jazz, Grunge and Alternative Rock. Recently his favorite song was "Boats and Birds" by Gregory and the Hawk. Dylan was a unique young man whose favorite instrument was the Berimbau which is a single string percussion instrument, a musical bow from Brazil.
Dylan's love and acceptance of all people was amazing but his true love was animals. He had many pets in his life, beginning with his loyal dog Jackson Browne. His precious Chinchilla "Bam-Bam" was his best buddy for many years and brought a lot of joy to him.
Dylan was known as "Gadgetman" to many of his friends because he loved trinkets, gadgets and unusual collectables. He was a brilliant researcher online and could quote facts that only Dylan would think to quote. He was a self described "Dreamer", a real practical joker and woe be you if you were his victim, but it was always done in fun.
Dylan was proceeded in death by his precious nephew Trevor Dylan just 16 days prior to his own passing. He is survived by his Father, Glen Stultz, his Mother and Step father, Patti and Gene Stoddard, his big brother and co-conspirator in childhood Ryan, his big sister whom he admired so much, Jamie, and his two younger sisters who he loved to tease but also adored, Elisha and Shaynee. He loved being an Uncle to his two nieces, Breanna and Bailey. Dylan also had numerous other relatives including Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and many cousins that he was very fond of and who loved him.
The last seven years of Dylan's life were filled with challenges that no one should have to go through or endure but he is now free of the physical restraints put on him from health issues.
Although you are not physically here now Dylan, please know you will NEVER be forgotten, you will always take up a large space in each of our hearts. Till we meet again, Rest in Peace Sweet Son.
