

Eddie Lee Pierce , 80 passed away in Sun City on December 25, 2014. He was the son of the late Eddie Lee and Novella " Oley Hines " Pierce and was the husband of the love of his life, Shirley Pierce for 42 years. Eddie worked for TRW as an Engineer for over 33 years. After retiring, Eddie and Shirley travelled to over 30 countries. Eddie was one who loved to be active and be outdoors. His passion were fishing and gardening. Shirley was known to say there are so many vegetable vines growing the flowers in the garden are going to be smothered. Eddie also had a second passion, fishing fresh water and local creeks. His favorite areas were streams in the Sierras and Rock Creek Canyon. Family was so important to Eddie, he and Shirley loved to take his grandson out fishing and camping. This time was some of his best memories. Eddie was a member for years at the First Baptist Church in San Jacinto and volunteered many hours working in the grounds and for the congregation. He was a lover of dogs and his poodle-snauzer will miss him terribly. His family describe him as family oriented, very social, and a man with a wonderful sense of humor.Preceded in death was his step-son Darrell R Reynolds, Surviving is his wife, Shirley Pierce, son Richard W Pierce, Robert A Pierce, step-son Harry E Reynolds, brothers Harrison C Pierce and sister Eunice L Perry, grandson Robert Andrue Pierce.
