She attended high school in Scotland where she met her high school sweetheart, Eric Welsh. They dated for a year and half before Eric asked Elizabeth to marry him. Two years later, Eric and Elizabeth tied the knot and spent 61 wonderful years together.

In her spare time, she loved cooking and baking for her family. Elizabeth also enjoyed gardening, shopping, and gambling. Her favorite way to gamble at the casino was playing on the poker machines. She was a well-rounded woman with worldly experience and everyone who knew her will miss her dearly.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Eric Welsh, her son, Steve Welsh, and her granddaughter, Kristen Paz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ann Fyfe, her sisters, Alice Fyfe, June Fyfe, and Aileen Seidman, and her brother, John Fyfe.
