

Emanuel entered into life on Tuesday, August 12, 1958, he was the son of Emanuel Douglas Sr. and Odilsey Harris Douglas.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a monetary donation be made for funeral expenses.
Emanuel's hobbies & interest include enjoying his family, whether it was his immediate of distant, the mere fact you were "family " was enough for him to embrace you. He was a Sports enthusiast, fisherman & Military Patriot. Emanuel enjoyed serving his country as a proud Green Beret Army Special Forces. Reading was also a fave, whether it was his Bible or most autobiographies. He was quite a humanitarian, and would reach out to help especially the down trodden. As his health declined he enjoyed surfing the internet and connecting with family & friends via Social Media.
Emanuel leaves behind those to cherish his loving memory: Parents; Emanuel & Odilsey (Harris) Douglas; two brothers: Reginald Douglas, and Antony Paul Douglas. Five sisters, Barbara A. Douglas, Charmaine J. Douglas, Jacqueline Douglas-Thomas, Marla D. Williams, and Deborah Douglas Hammond.
Brother & Sister-in-Laws; James S. Thomas, Jr., Jason D. Hammond, & Julie Blunt Douglas.
Nephews & Nieces: Meghan C. Pfitzenreuter (Erik), Trevor E. Douglas, Michael C.S.Thomas, Dezi L Williams II, Jaidyn K. Douglas, Caleb A. Douglas, Jace H.E. Douglas, Micayla O.J. Douglas, including his long time high school sweetheart & friend, Jean Howe & honorary son Evan Howe, along with an quiver full of cousins, other relatives and friends.
A shelter service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 9:30am at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518
immediately following the Interment, that there will be a Memorial Service and Repast hosted by: Emanuel & Odilsey Douglas
