Eugene Padilla, age 74 of Moreno Valley, California entered eternal life on Friday, September 8, 2017. Born Saturday, November 7, 1942 in Clayton, New Mexico, he was the son of the late Jose de la Cruz Padilla and the late Lila Salazar Padilla. He was the husband of Jean Armijo Padilla.
Eugene grew up ranching in New Mexico. Later in life he became a correctional officier serving for 20 years until his retirement.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jean; son, Gerais Padilla; daughter, Faralyn Padilla; 4 grandchildren, Jayna Padilla, Eugene Alvarez, Gerais Padilla, Viviann Padilla; 3 brothers, Alvino Padilla, Lino Padilla and Manuel Padilla; and 2 sisters, Simona Martinez and Martha Padilla.
He was predeceased by sister, Lucy Martin.
A funeral service will be at 6:30 PM on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Miller-Jones Sun City Chapel located at 26770 Murrieta Road Sun City, California 92586 with the Pastor Robert Butler officiating.
