He was born on December 2, 1925 in Badger, South Dakota to the late Leo Weidenkopf and the late Marguerite Weidenkopf. Eugene was the loving husband of the late Carol Weidenkopf for over 57 years. He served his country honorably in the Army during World War II. Soon after he began his career as an artist. Eugene was a wonderful artist and his family will be able to cherish his wonderful works of art for years to come. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Kathleen Brooks, Tom Weidenkopf and Julie Aufderheide; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
