Florence " Flo" Josine Johnston, 81 of Nuevo, California has passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Loma Linda University Health - Murrieta in Murrieta, California. She was born to the late James and Josine Johnston on Tuesday, May 9, 1939. Flo loved her animals and working her ranch. She made her living ranching raising pigs, cattle and goats. Some say Flo was born in the wrong century. She would have been a very successful settler from the 1800's moving west to settle the country. The land was her family and she loved every minute working it. She was tough as nails and no job was to big or difficult. She just got it done. She knew how to drive a tractor and fix anything with her tool box. Flo liked to stay home most of the time so she did not do much traveling. Her family was part of her life and she was helpful when asked. Flo loved her dogs very much and they kept her company and entertained. Flo will be missed by those that knew her and loved her. Surviving is sister, Mary Shackford, nephew Tad Shackford ( Beverly ) and Shon Shackford. Services will be private.
