Passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Sun City, California; he was born on July 14, 1931 in Revillo, South Dakota to the late Homer and Caroline (Bunting) Ward.
Frank served in the US Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He worked in the paper industry for 47 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, gardening and tending to his garden.
He is survived by his loving children and their families, Frank Ward of Rialto, Sharon Metzger of Menifee, Carolyn Ward of Fort Collins, Colorado and Kathy Armstrong of Menifee; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara in 2009.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 9-10am at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Sun City, California, with a chapel service to follow at 10am. Internment with military honors will be at Riverside National Cemetery following at 11:31am staging area #7.
