

Frank Joe Beltran, beloved father, husband, grandfather, and veteran, passed away on April 10, 2015. He was 89. He is survived by his wife, Josie Beltran and his three step-daughters, Esther Stonger, Angelina Brenes and Barbara Baiz; two sisters, Matilda Vazquez and Andy Vazquez, also many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. As well as two daughters from his first marriage, Mary Manuela & Vivian Beltran.
Frank was born January 26, 1926 in Drake, Arizona, and was longtime resident of Cathedral City and Thousand Palms, CA. In his later years, he made San Jacinto his home.
He was an Army Veteran who served in World War II stationed first in Fort Ord, Army Base, in Monterey, CA before being deployed for service against Japan. He chose to stay in the military for over 20 years making it his career.
Frank was lucky to have reconnected later in life with his original love, Josie, who he had dated prior to entering the Army as a young man. After each of their spouses died they were reacquainted 51 years later. They married and happily lived together for 21 years before his passing.
His absence will be forever felt by those who knew and loved him, especially his dear family.
