Gail Doreen Luna

Gail Doreen Luna, 58 of Winchester, California passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on Friday, January 25, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late John and Lois " Zander " Kirsch. The family referred to Gail as a professional shopper and knew when she saw a deal. Gail was an excellent cook and was known for her banana bread, pumpkin pie and kolaczki cookies. She liked to collect many things but her favorites were bears, apples and Winnie the Poo. Gail was always helping others and putting their needs first. She was very giving and gracious and seen as a second mother to all. Family was very important to her and she was always in contact with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by those who knew her and loved her. Surviving are former husbands Juan Luna and Pedro Castillo, sons, Jose Luna and Pedro Castillo II, daughters, Lydia Castillo, Crystal Caceres, Jajaira Cortez and Karina Juarez, brother, Jack Kirsch, sisters, Lynn Kirsch and Gwen Carr and 3 grandchildren. Preceded in death were her parents John and Lois Kirsch and uncle Jim Zander.
