Gary Roffers

Gary J. Roffers, 75 of Hemet, CA passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, in Hemet, CA. He was born on Wednesday, October 22, 1941 in De Pere WI, to the late Randall and Evelyn Roffers. He was Married to Nancy Louise Roffers for 27 wonderful years and worked sales in the lumber industry for 32 years. A marine to the very end, Gary served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp for four years in the early sixties. He would jokingly tell people; "marines do not die, we re-group". Gary was described as a very forgiving, accepting, loving, and generous man. He loved watching football on Sunday's, and could be heard cheering on his Green Bay Packers with great enthusiasm. Gary would often go camping, and enjoyed his time hosting the state campground in Utah and South Dakota, and would visit with the people, which he enjoyed just as much. During his time at home, Gary enjoyed working in his garden, and on his planters and birdhouses. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.He is survived by wife - Nancy Louise Roffers, Daughters - Christie Clayton (Tom), and Marie Loebel (Walter), and sons; Son - Gary Roffers, Jr. (Norma), and Jason Burnham (Nyki) as well as11 grandchildren and 1great grandchild.
