George Wright went home to be with Jesus on March 30, 2016. George was the oldest son of George Sr. and Kathrine Wright. George was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 30, 1937. They moved to San Jacinto, Ca. when he was 9 years old. He went to San Jacinto High School where he met and later married his high school sweetheart Linda Howe. He graduated class of 1957. George and Linda married on April 11,1959 and had 3 children Steve, Karen (Jim) and Phil (Shonda). They have 12 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren.
George is also survived by his 3 sisters and 2 brothers Mary Louise, Edith, Caroline, Gerald and Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his son Steve.
George was a fireman for the U.S. Forest Service for 29 years, We remember being on vacation one year and him seeing smoke coming up in the forest and him calling to ask about his crew, needless to say we packed up and headed home as fast as the car would go. He loved being a fireman!
