Gilford Johnson was born June 13, 1955. He was the fifth child born to Curtis and Margueriette Johnson.
He attended Pioneer Elementary, Vanguard Middle School, and Compton High School and graduated from Lynwood High.
Dino discovered Christ at an early age. He was baptized in Compton, California. He strongly believed in the Lord as his Savior.
Dino was a generous man, always willing to help anyone he could. He cherished his family and friends.
Dino married Alice Mintfield. Three beautiful children were born to this union. Katrina, Kylla and Koletta. Dino loved his children and when he spoke of his girls, you could see the love in his eyes.
He later married Althea Gibson who proceeds him in death.
Dino leaves to mourn, 3 daughters, Katrina, Kylla and Koleta; 3 grandchildren, Bryanna, Kayden and Blake; mother, Margueriette; sister, Tanis and 3 brothers Gary Sr., Gerald Sr. and Geoffrey. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Gilford's father Curtis Johnson and brother Gregory Johnson precedes him in death.
Dino was called home to be of service to his Lord on April 14, 2017. He will be missed by all who knew him.
