Harold Larry Marker

Harold Larry Marker of Murrieta, CA passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011. He was born on September 4, 1946 in Illinois. After six and a half years in the Navy, he settled in Southern California with his wife of 42 years, Margie. They raised two sons, Eric (Ilene) and Brian (Suzanne). Harold became a very proud grandfather in 2008 upon the birth of Katherine, daughter of Brian and Suzanne. Harold provided primary and emergency care to thousands during his long career in health care, including the past 15 years as a Physician's Assistant. He spent his free time doing woodwork, gardening, and hanging out with friends and family. He was an avid motorcycle rider, and could be found most weekends on his Harley, with a large group, with Margie, or on his own. Committal services with military honors will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA. Preceding the service, a procession will leave promptly at noon from Quaid Harley, 28964 Old Town Front Street, Temecula, CA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Harold Marker Memorial Account and dropped off at any branch of the San Diego County Credit Union.
