Helen Evadne Craig, age 88 of Temecula, California died on Saturday, July 30, 2011. She was born Sunday, February 11, 1923, in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Helen Jones Meyler.
Eve was passionate about music and the fine arts. During her 50 years as a promoter and fund raiser, she was involved with the Dorothy Chandler Music Center, Woodbury College, The Arts Council of Temecula Valley, Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival and many more. In 2007 she was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Temecula Mayor's Ball for the Arts.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Craig and daughter, Margaret Allen.
Surviving are brothers, James and Robert Meyler; son-in-law, Steve Allen; 6 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Rancho Community Church, 31300 Rancho Community Way, Temecula, California.
Interment will be in Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Hollywood, California.
