Hiram served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army; he later worked as a general foreman for the military for 30 years. Hiram enjoyed bible study, prison ministry, traveling, cruises and reading; he also loved baseball, the Clippers and politics.
Hiram is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mary Ann of Menifee; his children, Alicia Riedy of Menifee, John Paul Negrete of Puerto Rico, Diana Monahan of Menifee, Richard Negrete of Coronado and Pete G. Negrete of Murrieta; nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 4-8pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Sun City. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 12:30pm at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Sun City. Internment will be at Riverside National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
