Mom passed peacefully, comfortably and surrounded by love.
She was born Orysia Lewicky to Ukrainian immigrants who came to Canada in late 1800’s. She was born on a farm in Ethelbert, Manitoba. Her parents were John & Anastasia Lewicky, She was the last surviving member of her family which consisted of 3 brothers and 7 sisters. She was very proud of her Ukrainian heritage. She came to America in the late 1940’s and made a life here. She was independent, courageous and a very hard worker. She did not show emotion easily but loved unconditionally. She was truly one of a kind. She is free now and reunited with her loved ones. She is survived by daughter, Helene and son Terry, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. We will never forget you or stop loving you. Rest in Eternal Peace.
