Born Wednesday, February 9, 1921 in Seymour, Texas, he was the son of the late James McCauley and Grace Farr McCauley. He was the loving husband of Helen McCauley.
James loved to have fun, he enjoyed playing Chair Volleyball and watching sports, especially the Dodgers. He enjoyed his time on the Sun City Crime Watch team with his wife and many friends.
He served in the Army from 1944 until 1946.
Surviving are son, Dan Mc Cauley and daughter, Sherry Barker, 3 grand children; 7 great grand children.
A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Friday at Miller-Jones Sun City Mortuary located at 26770 Murrieta Road Sun City, California 92585. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, , .
