James Bowman Risher

James Bowman Risher, 88 of Hemet, California passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. He was born on Tuesday, January 7, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and he was the son of the late Harlan and Buehlah Bowman. He was married to the love of his life, Shirley Risher for over 68 years. James met Shirley in Washington and after three weeks they were married. He worked in the RV Dealership industry for over 40 years selling RV's and accessories. James served two years in the US Air Force. He liked to listen to country music and back in his military time he even played guitar with Jimmy Dean. James and Shirley traveled all over the US in a motor home and did enjoy Nashville many times during their travels. James also was involved in being a Ham Radio Operator and has many friends on the airwaves. His family describes him as friendly, loving and a great caring person. Surviving is his wife Shirley Risher; sons, Robert Risher ( Kathy ), Richard Risher and James Risher, brother, Phillip Risher ( Patty ), sister, Bonnie Hinson; 5 grandchildren.

Interment will be private on a different date at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
