Jennifer, was a wonderful person to know, and she was always welcome in our home. My daughter, Jennifer, and I just learned of her passing yesterday. 8/15/16 We are very sorry for your loss.

Our family would like to extend our condolences to Jennifer's friends and family. We have known Jennifer through the Canyon Springs marching band but mostly through her friendship with our youngest son Shawn. Shawn and Jennifer shared a bond that many may not understand but it goes back at least 15 years. We hope she has found the peace of mind she was looking for. We are heartbroken.

Jennifer was an Amazing individual that was so smart and always willing to help out. My earliest memory of Jennifer (where we first met) was at Jesika Birthday Party it was at Jesika's sisters house and though Jennifer was a year younger than us, We hit it off from the start. Jennifer, Jesika and I were always together throughout middle school and high school. I remember her saying I can still hear her saying "drugs are bad MMMKAY" she said it all the time .

We had the same size shoes and would trade shoes they were vans and  back then and they came in all these bright colors red yellow neo blue and green, I can still remember that smell after we all went through them they smelled so bad ( I know TMI ) .

Jennifer was also the numbers keeper she had almost everyone's phone number from school. She kept them in this black binder (black book ) one time we had called a wrong number and it was some older ( to us then at 14-15 ) guy and we started talking to him and after a few calls we had him come pick us up ( me Jennifer and Jesika) and take him to my house so we all could go swimming. Once we were there and in the pool my mom started asking how we knew him and wanted to know who this guy was. She asked him for his ID I think he was like 28 we all got in so much trouble. I'm sure Ellen and James remember this all The parents met up at Jennifer's house to get a verbal lashing from all the parents at once.

I felt like part of her family and hope she felt like part of mine. I remember going on vacation with her and her family I don't remember where it was but there was a whale in the water that we could climb on and I remember she was the first to get on the whale ( I never did make it up there ) or the one time Jennifer  wanted to start a band. Jennifer was really the only one with any talent, it never went anywhere other than trying to see who we would get to be in the band.

Jennifer was friends with everyone she was so easy to like and get along with I've never met anyone that didn't like her. She was so smart and could help anyone with any problems whether is was with school or just life in general. She was always there to lend an ear to talk to and though time had distanced us, when we met up it was just like old times. There are so many stories I have of Jennifer and all of them were awesome even if we were getting in trouble. Sadly We all ups and downs, I wish that I could have been there to help her I wish she would of told me more but the last communication I had with her will forever be unfinished and for that I'm very sad I wish I lived closer so that I could have been I'll come pick you up where are you? cause I would have been there. I know Jennifer much like me has a hard time asking for help while trying to keep our pride and "I can do it on my own attitude intact. But I will miss her very much. Rest peacefully my friend until we meet again..

I transferred to Seneca Elementary at the end of fourth grade. As students on the class were in the middle of testing, I was allowed to use that time playing educational games on the class computers. Jennifer had transferred in around the same time, so at those computers we quickly became friends. Jennifer was always so much fun to be around and I loved spending time with her. I remember my parents instituted a ten minute limit on my phone calls as in junior high school she and I would tie up the phone line for over an hour at a time. Jennifer always had a lot to say and I was always eager to listen. I hope that, in this time of mourning, Jennifer's family has many around them to listen to and share their stories with.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to Jennifer's family and friends. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but even more so when we lose them at such a young age. The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can sometimes be unbearable. But we are not left to cope with our grief alone. We can receive comfort from the one who knows the depth of our pain better than anyone else. The Bible helps us to understand that death is God’s enemy and he promise that he is going to put an end to sickness and death. I know that God will strengthen and comfort you through this difficult time. May his loving promises bring you hope for the future.
