Jorge Leyva Martinez

Jorge Leyva Martinez, 88 of Hemet, was born on April 23, 1932, in Providencia Villa de Santo, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He was the son of Martin Leyva and Sara Martinez. Jorge was married to the love of his life, Anna Maria Quiroz de Leyva, for 64 years.

Jorge Leyva migrated to the United States and settled in Hemet over 40 years ago to stay close to his late mother and family. Jorge was a true family man, he kept his family united on as many occasions and birthday parties. He was hardworking, respectful and honest and a religious man. He currently attended the Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Sundays rain or shine and was long time member at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. He enjoyed life to the full potential all through the last few years of his life. Those who knew him and loved him will miss him.

Jorge is survived by his Wife, Anna, his Sons; Martin, Jorge, Arturo, Carlos, Dagoberto, and Jose Juan and his Daughter, Elsa. Jorge is also being survived through his Brother, Arturo along with 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family has invited immediate family to attend burial services at Perris Valley Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

Jorge Fortunato Leyva Martínez, 88 de Hemet, falleció el miércoles 13 de enero de 2021 en el Hospital Hemet, California. Nació el 23 de abril de 1932 en Providencia, villa de Santo, San Luis Potosí, México. Era hijo de Martín Leyva y Sara Martínez. Jorge estuvo casado con el amor de su vida, Anna Maria Quiroz de Leyva, durante 64 años.

Jorge Leyva vino a Estados Unidos y se instaló en la Ciudad de Hemet, CA para estar cerca de su difunta madre y familia. Jorge fue un verdadero hombre de familia, mantuvo unida a su familia en tantas ocasiones como en fiestas de cumpleaños. Fue trabajador, respetuoso, honesto y muy religioso. Asistía a la Iglesia del Espíritu Santo todos los domingos, llueva o truene y por muchos años asistió a la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Valle. Disfrutó de la vida en todo su potencial durante los últimos años de su vida. Quienes lo conocieron y lo amaron lo extrañará.

A Jorge le sobreviven su esposa Anna: Hijos, Martín, Jorge, Arturo, Carlos, Dagoberto y José Juan; Hija, Elsa; Hermano, Arturo y 19 nietos y 18 bisnietos.

La familia ha invitado a los participantes al sepelio que se llevará a cabo en el cementerio de Perris Valley en la Ciudad de Perris a la 1:30 PM.
