Jorge Quintana Tapia, age 78, of San Jacinto, CA, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. Jorge was born December 26, 1935 in Aconchi, Sonora, Mexico. He was the son of the late Andres Tapia and the late Guadalupe (Quintana) Tapia. Jorge worked for Agri Empire for 17 years. He was a machine operator. Lived in San Jacinto for 40 years. Some of his hobbies where playing cards and dominos. He enjoyed baseball. He was preceded in death by his siblings Lucila Tapia, Manuel Tapia and Santiago Tapia.
He is survived by his loving wife Elvira Tapia, three daughters, Candy Karina (Federico) Romero, Magdalena Sanchez, Luisa (Alex) Ojeda, two sons, George Tapia, Hector Tapia, two sisters, Guadalupe (Lorenzo) Garibaldi & Josefina (Melchor) Tinoco, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory San Jacinto, 165 West 7th Street, San Jacinto, CA where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 21, 2014. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
