

Born Friday, September 17, 1926 in Verdon, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Lamar Lucas and the late Dora (Shafer) Lucas. He was the husband of Barbara (Andrews) Lucas.
Kenneth served 22 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a veteran of World War II. He worked as a personnel administrator in the civil service field for 20 years.
He enjoyed fishing and going to local casinos, playing cribbage, and at home on his computer he liked to play hearts and spades. He loved to dance and could cut a rug when he went dancing with his niece and sister.
Kenneth also enjoyed bowling, he was on a bowling league with his daughter, Barbara, for several years. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors in his garden. He used his green thumb in his backyard, growing the best peaches and lemons. He liked to relax with a good glass of beer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Lucas and his sister, Lena Fejt.
Surviving is daughter, Barbara (Bill) Wimer, and sons, Kenneth (Diane) Lucas and John (Lynne) Lucas; grandchildren, Carrie, Luke, Christina, Natalie, Nicholas, Alex, Heather, and Megan, and great grandchildren, Ethan, Liam, Anton, Charlotte, Gabriella and Leila.
Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
