He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, his daughter Debra Reaves, his two sisters, Wilma and Betty, his brother, Ray, his two grandchildren Jennifer Higley and Mariah Reaves, and his great grandchildren, Madison Higley and Hunter Oliver and many other family and friends. He was born the son of Cecil and Bertha Palmer, in Saint Louis, Missouri. He matured and at the age of 19 years old, he married his beautiful bride, Barbara Heflin who was16 years old at the time. Soon after their marriage they would start and raise their family together. He was in the National Guard for nine years, worked for Rumor Battery for twenty years and later started his own business for eight years. The family knew him as the "Matriarch", because of his tender heart towards his family. He loved to take his grandchildren to the park to let them run and be free. He and Barbara didn't only raise their own family but made themselves available to nurture and guide nieces, nephews, grand and great-grandchildren with wisdom and love. He remained faithful to his bride Barbara for 58 years. When Kenneth was younger he enjoyed going to the horse races to watch the majestic animals run. One of his favorite places to go and eat was "In and Out Burger". Once he retired, he and his wife absolutely loved to go fishing and take trips to different state parks.
