Laura Ellen Simons, 88 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015, at home surrounded by family. She was born Sunday, October 24, 1926 in Gaither, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late Lon and Martha (Acuff) Dillon. She was very close to her family and really loved to be with her grand kids. Laura enjoyed doing the typical grandmother thing by spoiling them. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband Charles who passed away in 2003; they drove all over the United States for a wild adventure. Her family describes her as reserved, an excellent cook. Those that knew her and loved her will sorely miss her. Surviving are son, Larry Simons of Covina, CA, daughter, Carol Blanchard of Laguna Niguel, CA
