Leon Medrano

Leon Ramon Medrano, age 63, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, in Perris, California. He was born on Monday, June 20, 1949 in Silver City, New Mexico to the late Ramon Medrano and Viola Medrano. Leon was the loving husband of Kyong Medrano for over 35 years. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. He received numerous medals during his service, which included, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and Army Good Conduct Medal. He retired from the Army after serving 20 years. Leon was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 47 - Inland Empire. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and was an avid Raider's fan. His most memorable times were those with his loving family, especially his grandchildren. He will forever be loved, but greatly missed.

Those left to mourn his passing, but cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kyong Medrano; children, Suzyn Warner, Ramon Medrano and Jenifer Haros; mother, Viola Medrano, 9 grandchildren; two sisters, Gina and Noel and a host of other family members and friends.
