Lillian Virginia Williams peacefully returned to the Lord at
her home in Moreno Valley, California on Monday, August
7, 2017. Lillian was born on October 31, 1934 in
Readyville, Tennessee, to King Swarford and Lillie Frances
Swarford (Robinson). Lillian graduated from Holloway High
School in Rutherford County, Tennessee in 1953. On
September 11, 1955, Lillian married United States Air
Force serviceman Richard Houston Williams of Alabama in
Rutherford County, Tennessee, and together during their
62-year marriage, they had two children, Deborah Althea
Williams and Richard Houston Williams, Junior ("Rick"). As
an Air Force family, Lillian and her family traveled all over
the world, including the island of Guam. Through it all,
Lillian remained the spiritual and emotional center of the
family. Lillian was a homemaker who successfully juggled
time at home and worked for over 20 years at the
Broadway in retail sales. Lillian was an avid bowler, who
also was very passionate about her Christian faith, never
missing an opportunity to give thanks and to serve others.
She will be greatly missed. Lillian is survived by her
husband, Richard; her two children, Deborah and Rick (Teri
Brister); her four grandchildren, Erika Lynn Williams, Carrie
Brister (Krejdovsky), Shondel Brister, and Payton Mychal
Williams, Sr., and her great-grandchildren, Sydney, Briana,
Payton Jr., Jacob, Carrisa, Evan, and Eva, along with
many cousins and a large contingent of loving friends.
Lillian is also survived by her beloved sisters, Dorothy and
Bobbie, and was preceded in death by her brother, James.
The family would also like to thank Daetrice "DeDe"
Stallworth and Cynthia "Cindy" Gonzales for their
meticulous and loving care of Lillian during her final days. A
viewing of Lillian will be held at Miller Jones Mortuary, 1835
N. Perris Blvd., Perris, California on Tuesday, August 15,
2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Lillian's memorial service
will be held Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00 am at The
Blessing Center First Assembly of God, 23525 Hemlock Ave., Moreno Valley,
California. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be
