Linda Zambrano

Linda Marie Zambrano "Cookie", age 54, of Hemet, CA, ended her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Born July 13, 1956, she grew up in Wilmington, CA. She grew up to love dancing, exercise, cooking, entertaining, and family time. She graduated from Los Amigos High School in 1974, the same year she met and fell in love with, her husband of 35 years, Arthur Zambrano. They had two children, Arthur Zambrano, Jr. and Venus Marie Zambrano. As an adult, Linda enjoyed, her daily hikes with her dog, Alvin, spending time with friends and family, hosting parties, and playing slots at the casino. Above all, Linda loved to spend time with her four Grandbabies, Makayla Stone, 13, Michael Stone, 12, Tyler Igarik, 3, and Brody Igarik, 2. Linda had a heart of gold; she always put others before herself. Everyone Linda came in contact with she would inspire and share her wisdom, especially to children at the school where she worked as a Nutritionist for 14 years. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Zambrano; her children, Arthur Zambrano Jr., Venus Marie Zambrano (Igarik); her grandbabies, Makayla Stone, Michael Stone, Tyler Igarik, Brody Igarik; her mother Leona Giron; sisters Maria Guajaca, Debbie Mileham, Sonja Martin, Leona Giron, Edie Ngyuen, Emanel Giron, Linda Garduno and her brothers Anthony Perez and Dino Perez. She was preceded in death by her father Tony Perez, and sister Rosita Giron. Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory, Hemet, 1501 W. Florida Avenue, where family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Friday, March 4, 2011. Funeral service will be at Miller-Jones Mortuary, Saturday, March 5, 2001 at 11:00am. Immediately following will be a Repass in the Ramona Room at 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2011.
