Mabel Lila Holcomb, 89, of Hemet, CA, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at her home in Hemet, CA. Born on February 24, 1925 in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, Canada; she was the daughter of the late Severt and Minnie Halvorson.
A beautiful woman with a caring spirit, Mabel was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 41 years, Eldon H. Holcomb; sisters, Hilda, Augusta, and Myrtle; and brothers, Arthur, Gordon, Cecil, and Edwin. Mabel is survived by her son, Harold Edward Holcomb; daughters, Sylvia Frances Haskins and Rachel Madge Lynch; grandchildren, Andrew, Heather, Daniel, Noel, Joshua, RaeAnne, Emily, Josie, Sarah, and Michael; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
