Manuel Marquez Alidio

Manuel Marquez Alidio, 85 of Menifee, California passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at his residence. Manuel was born on Tuesday, February 25, 1936. The eldest of eight siblings, he was the son of the late Santiago Alidio and the late Victoria Marquez Alidio.

Manuel married the love of his life, Teresita Inocencio Alidio in Manila, Philippines on Tuesday, December 30, 1958. Shortly after, Manuel enlisted with the United States Navy on May 13, 1960, having already earned his Associates in Liberal Arts. After serving, Manuel and Teresita made their bold move to emigrate from Manila to Los Angeles. He began working for AT&T, then known as Pacific Bell, where he would be in management for over 20 years. Manuel and Teresita had four children: Raul Inocencio Alidio (wife Ash Alidio), Maria Theresa Alidio (wife Margaret Maguire), Cristina Alidio Barfield, and Michael Santiago Alidio (wife Jessica Alidio); and his six grandchildren. He was an avid golfer, a participant of religious ministries, and loved rocking his baby grandchildren to sleep. He will be lovingly remembered by a host of family and friends.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 62 years, Teresita Inocencio Alidio, his four children: Raul Inocencio Alidio, Maria Theresa Alidio, Cristina Alidio Barfield, and Michael Santiago Alidio; and his grandchildren: Jake Barfield, Julia Barfield, Natalie Alidio, Alyssa Alidio, Mason Alidio, and Maddox Alidio.

Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory - Menifee, 26770 Murrieta Road, Menifee, CA. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
