Margie Dekker Fowler passed away in Hemet, CA on January 12, 2026. She was one of nine children born in Holland on May 21, 1931. She lived through WWII during the takeover of Holland. She immigrated to California in 1961 to join her two brothers who immigrated before her. She was married to Dean Fowler, a veteran of the US. Navy who was deceased in 2005. They met while being employed by the U.S. Postal Service where both retired after 20+ years of service. Margie was one of the most likeable people you could ever meet. She was very artistic with baking, sewing, quilting and painting. She is survived by a sister, Gertrude Spoor (92) and ten nieces and nephews. Everyone enjoyed her easygoing disposition and fun personality. She lived her last ten years at The Village in Hemet where she made many friends and even traveled on ocean cruises. Margie will be missed by all who knew her. May she RIP.
